so my exam is finally over!! yes i know its the day to be remember 22 april, plus my nephew is born yesterday!! so cute!! he was born when i was having my paper.. talk about timing!
anywho.. my youtube channel will be close and reopen call "missjologytv". Reason why i am closing my account because of the copyright issues that my account has incurred when i insert background music in my makeup video that i took part in the make up contest hosted by sarah. And there wasnt any issue until now that they are being strict about it! :( so my initial video upload can be 15 mins long or so call have the unique features were all gone and now i realise youtube has becoming a community that has loss the freedom to upload whatever we want. shouldnt they implement before and after the copyright restriction??
but i have not posted anything over there yet so hopefully you all can subscribe over to that channel as i will be making more video then :).
Side note about youtube update - a small rant about my lecturer, he is a smart guy very intelligent i can say. But i think he does not have any idea how much he migh have hurt his student, he probably does know and he will never know because he probably drinking his half glasses of red wine watching HK series.. He love to use the word "gosh, Geez, damn them... ". He is a canadian born chinese live in NYC and teaches in Singapore. his english is super duper chim and his singlish is very fake!!! hahahha! but i just dont like how he critise me in front of my group mates.. I respect him as much as other teacher as i learn alot from him for this past semester, but i think he should not do it this way. Really demoralise the student spirit when it just 2 days before the exams. :(((( i sometime think that he quite "not okay??"
i realise i use alot about his and he.. LOL!
I do not blame anyone about my english grammar or sentences structure because i wasnt being train to write anything proper with it. we do essay writing in school but the think is i do not like to write essay! its one of most dreadful thing to do but hey here i am writing a post to rant.. HMMM.. The thing is when my sch teacher talks about my grammar - how the hell i know what is grammar?? i know what is vocab.. but grammar?? there wasnt any real direct teaching about it.
maybe there is but i was not paying attention in class?? haha! but i will try to improve it :) well if you cant deal with it live with it.. or there is never ending road to learning?? hahah

So I make my trip down thinking that I would have maybe 10-15% off, knowing that singapore market is different from US market system. And at the same time I want to do a return on a defect clothes which they dont allow to return unless I got the receipt, totally not flexible as the clothes I exchanging is this season and its not like I am exchanging other clothes.. they are practically the same one! Never mind I thought as I know they have rules and regulation, maybe I ask my grandma to search for that receipt.. -.-
Nonetheless I just recycle some of my clothes that I would not be wearing any more ( no pictures taken because I wasnt prepare to write up any thing). And they accept any clothes u provide without checking.
The thing is that you need to bring a plastic bag (or they can provide you also) to thrown into this recycling bin that they have beside the counter. And they give you this voucher card.
Here it state that $10 off for MIN. $80 you purchase and valid till end of june. Which if you do abit of the min. Purchase calculation the discount you get is 12.5% which is fairly good but I just dont like how the system works with it. As a consumer I would expect 12.5% with any normal price item purchase, and not the $80 min purchase regulation. (Just my thoughts, so dont judge haha!) Because if I purchase anything that is above $80 would be less of 12.5%. So why not just give use 12.5% off everything with a single purchase only haha. Customer happy = bring more cash to the company. Plus I always love h&m clothing.. and its afforable then some clothes at bugis or at far east plaza.
Things that i might want to ramble. I am not cheapskate or dirty fellow that want to cheap on getting the 12.5%, but because i value the company that makes me want part take in the programme; but the staff that serve me thinks otherwise. She is unaware how the programme works and do not want to touch my clothes and ask the other staff to handle it because she though that its dirty clothes, I know abit of malay and my grandma is a nonya so she know very well what she talking. So I was AMAZE how the staff thinks about this programme, which is why now I am not going to recycle any of my clothes to H&M anymore and would just donate to salvation army instead. At least they wont think my clothes is dirty enough to touch. My clothes are all washed and probably been hidding at the back of the closet with some dust collected on it, now come to think of it I am totally regretting recycling it! I rather keep then being humiliated by her.
however, Thankfully the other staff that serve me is ok enough that I dont make a noise over at the counter.
So is this marketing programme successful over in singapore? My verdict is not so much. The form they ask me to fill up have less then 10 person on it. (Which might be the case that they know through the video or word of mouth) plus the staff is not knowledgable enough to make the process of the programme a pleasant journey for the customer.
I am a matketing student that study in RMIT and have years of experience to know what is customer satisfaction is important for company growth. H&M you have long way to go. But dont worry I will continue to fund your company as long as I like the clothes there!

So far i only tried the BHA 2% liquid from PC and i am quite interested to try out the AHA - although i know that this isnt a comparision with the PC brand. But my skin so far react well with the BHA and i want to know how it does for AHA.
so i ask the level of concentration for the AHA product that they are going to sent to me (so this is what i copy + paste from the email and what they recommend to whom)

Basically AHA products have been recommended for Oily Skin Type People.
In General, over 0.5% of AHA level products can stimulate your skin.
In other words, we recommend you to do Patch Test before you use ‘Green Apple AHA 10 Essence’.
In addition, we also recommend you to use ‘Green Apple AHA 10 Essence’ after using Toner and Lotion.
If you have Oily Skin Type, you might not have to worry about using the product.
If you notice there is toner, essence, emlusion... its a sort of confusion right. Basically you want to start with the lightest texture/concentration and work your way up. This is the best way that your face can properly absorb the product into the skin in the quickest and effective way.

I love how this smell, it doesnt lather into foam like texture like my HG hada labo cleanser but it cleans my face well and not tight at all!
Should i mention that 1 pump is enough for my face and i do not need to measure how much do i need :) plus plus point!

i like that they have this little cap/stopper/protector thingy that makes it more hygenic and travel friendly :) (details details details)

Toner: It "double" cleanse my face really well! even after the face wash, i notice after wiping the cotton soaked toner it somehow grabs the "dust" that is undetectable by my other toner. Which really amazes me and i look forward to this step haha! because it some how give me a surprise effect to make sure every residue is being clean away!

Emlusion: Its light weight and slight green apple scented product (All product has but it not noticeable when settle into the skin). it absorb into the skin really well and does not leave any sticky or tacky feeling at all. Plus 1 pump is enough for my face for thin application. But i go for 2 pump so that my skin is able to handle the harsh concentrated essence that i going to put next :)

Green Apple AHA 10 Essence (AHA level 10%)
i have to say this is by far the most surprising essence - not about the product/essence just yet. Look at the dropper it has a so call stopper that prevent less air getting into the product/essence possible. I am already wow by the details the company trying to pull off!

Story: Before application i do not know how much i need to put. So i basically did like 5 drops which is 5 Main point of my face. after which i just slater it on my face without doing any test patch etc because when i try it on my hand for test patch it has no reaction what so ever!
MY FACE TINGLE AND HAVE A SLIGHT BURN!! then i recall that anything above 5% have reaction on the face. so i let it be and the feeling subside!
Result: Thankfully the tingly feeling subside and result is i enjoy the essence - as compare with the BHA (8% liquid) i have its a totally new experience and it leaves my face slightly dry even after i apply emlusion before that so i recommend that to apply your suitable moisturiser after that immediately :)
** NOTE! - do not do test patch on hand because its not accurate at all! hahaha! always do at the corner of you jaw line area to see how you react.

Green Apple AHA Cream (AHA level 0.1%)
you can see how thick the cream is. and my first though was "oh dear this is not gonna work for me.. its too thick!" but when i tried it on my face (half a pea size amount) it gives a nice lovely texture like a "flim" over my face and my hand just wont stop touching my face. This should not be call cream - its basically like a gel + silicon texture that makes my face so so smooth!!
However when i tried it with more then what i suppose to reach out for (more then pea size), my face turns super oily greasy feeling that i think more suitable for "night sleep mask effect" with aircon on of course! hahah!

What is my overall opinion about the brand?
So far what i tried - Zymogen Green Apple AHA10 is really good. Especially toner and essence, because this 2 product surprise me and i immediately fall in love with the effect that my skin feel when applying the product that it. But the one that disappoint me is the cream because this is a product that its either you love or hate at 1st sight and to me it's in-between because i always sleep with my aircon on and only can use it at night while it not okay to use it in the day because you will feel sticky immediately! alternative it works as a great moisturiser for your crack heels or dry patches you have around the arms :)
Do like Zymogen at their facebook and what i know is that they going to launch their brand in singapore soon but you can visit their website for more info and purchase over there via qoo10 !

At that point of time i select base on what i know best for my skin which was normal to combination. Little did i know that after using it during once my skin felt tight. Which was not a good sign because when i use the hada labo cleanser it does not give me that kind of tightness. So in my mind i though may be i am having a bad skin day or maybe just the weather or what. So i gave it another shot for the next 2 days.
Sadly it broke me out on my cheek area... i have no idea only that part but the rest of my face (forehead, chin and nose area) are fine. i didnt tried after that and didnt complete the instruction cycle of 28 days. Hence i cant say whether it improves my skin or not and i do not have the photos taken of myself using the product. i do have my break out pict but i dont think its very nice at all and i am at the mist of recovering - thanks to paula choice and vichy!
However, my brother likes the tightness feeling and doesnt breaks him out.. Weird!!

Apart from the cleanser.. i have trying out the scrub as well.
i know it does sound weird - the scrub does not make my skin feel tight at all and its the 1st time i see a scrub that latter so well, cause normally scrub comes along in a gel form substance. But for this is like cleanser + scrub.
And the scrub beads is so tiny weeny that i even tried squeezing out alot just to feel the scrub beads on my face. In my opinion, its a great product but if you are use to feeling the scrubby bits on your face, you might need to use a few times to get use to the tiny beads feeling

Both of my hands are fair to begin with and its obvious that scrub on the right is slightly fairer. Possible that its my dead skin.
Conclusion:
Cleanser - 2/5
Biore has its distinctive scent and its quite ok for me. I have pass the cleanser to my brother and his verdict is ok and best part its afforable!
Scrub - 4/5
It have to be my pick, its not harsh at all and i really think it work well to be a daily scrubby to be use to remove the dead skin before you put on makeup in the morning or when you about to go out. Plus its suitable for all skin types & afforable! great for anyone who are just starting to learn the basic level of scrubbing faces with beads without worrying being harsh onto the skin.. :)

i have so many backlog that i do not know what to begin with.. been busy helping my parent that the word "insane" is an understatement.
but recently my meal have been irregular due to meeting and such. Hence my *ahem* resulted in constipation. i usually do "business" like maybe once every 3 days or worst.. er.. 1 week.. but now its like daily after i tried this product. i was hesitant for a moment and even ask my mother if its alright? because our family are quite strict with the "supplement" pill that going to consume.
